Tests, Tests, and More Tests!

Hey...Woo Hoo...I dont have gestational diabetes! I failed my one hour but passed my 3 hour. I dont know the numbers but I'll ask this next Tuesday at my appt. (the nurse didnt have them when she called). Im still going to stick close to the GD diet just to be on the safe side.

Olivia has testing of her own on Wednesday. She is having a CT Scan and EEG. The CT Scan is to make sure she does not have anything going on. For example any growths and to check to make sure her brain has sufficient room to grow since she had a (transverse elliptical) crainotomy when she was 6 months for that reason (no room). The EEG is to understand her brain waves and determine her seizure activity. Supposedly this is a newer way to do an EEG and may be better in understanding what medication she needs to be on. Next Tuesday she also has an appt so I think we'll know the results by then.

Thats its....Gotta fold laundry and get dinner ready....Fun Fun....

Ethan Quote of the Day

You'd swear I'm making this up since I have so many.....(Im not!) I've called Ethan my bumblebee off and on--not thinking it'll stick but hes so much like one buzzing everywhere barely sitting down rest. Well last night I was laying with him to help him get to sleep and he told me....

So sweet are these days. I dont think Im going to let him grow up. Sorry but he can just stay this age and I'll stay my age. Olivia gets to stay her age. Sometimes we dont realize just how great we have it until we sit quietly and look around. Brian was telling me of a lady at church who just recently, after agressive treatments of chemo, was finally told that she only has 6 months left. Her and her husband have two children that are Nick and Briannes age (8 ish and 13 ish). Can you imagine that situation? We complain how busy and hectic our lives are and I bet all shes wishing is that it was like that again for her. So if you have a problem today that doesnt include you only have 6 months today go find a mirror, look in it and say, "Suck it up Mary". (Im getting uncomfortable with my huge stomach in the way but I'll suck it up because its a HUGE blessing to have this child).

Beau Edward Bulleigh

He's here! Born yesterday (4/14) at 2:31 am. Beau weighed 7.6 lbs and was 19 1/2 " long. Hurray. Also Mandy & Adam had a son the very same day! Alex Michael Jeffries! Im not sure on the details (its on Brians voicemail so I'll get that tonight).
We got to see Beau last night. He is SOOO sweet and very handsome. They say he looks just like Nick but I wasnt around yet for baby Nick. I could have held him forever but unfortunately his mom wanted him back! Im so excited for my new little one to come. Exactly 12 weeks from today is the due date.
On one hand I hope it goes by fast but on the other this might be my last so Im not pushing it. I miss Andrew now too! I dont get to hold Alex or Quinn & Michelles new one before my own.
I guess starting today I cant travel. I think I'd be completely fine but the doctor insists no traveling in the 3rd trimester.
Yeah today is the first day of the 3rd trimester!!! Is it a boy or girl? I know but you dont. Haha!

Drama Queen

My drama queen Olivia is at it again....
On Monday she had a seizure at school and stopped breathing. It lasted under 30 seconds and she got herself out of it.
Yesterday we took her to a new neurologist because the one she had been seeing since she was 6 months old retired.
I learned a few interesting things like the medicine shes currently on can make certain seizures worse and the dr. said he does not give his patients it. So we'll most likely be changing. Olivia will also be having a CT-scan to search for any growths that could be the reason since any CT-scans previously have been only follow-up from her craniotomy at 6 months old. She also will have an EEG because our new dr has updated ways of taking them and they are easier to read.
We have to wait for all of that until this dr wades through the mountain of medical records Olivia has at Childrens Mercy. I'll keep you updated but it might be awhile.........

Also I had an OB appt and Im measuring back at my original due date minus one day (July 7th). I find it hilarious they keep going back because the actual due date should be July 7-8th but the baby measures shorter by a week. DUH! This is Brian and I's baby of course its going to be short!! Ha Ha. Everything was completely fine. I am now going every 2 weeks so Im almost in the home stretch. I have to do the glucose test next time (Blah!)
We are patiently waiting for the Bulleigh baby. Im so excited! Also Mandys, Michelles, and Elizabeths are before me but I cant travel after next week so I can only love on this one until mine gets here. Hopefully Brian can visit to send presents. I love all these babies! What a christmas this will be! (We still will get to have Kristina and Nicoles in October too!)

First Annual Spring Fling

Mom and I had our first annual spring fling. Em couldnt make it because she was too busy getting sick riding the rides at Silver Dollar City. Next year it'll be complete with all of us there. We went to Eureka Springs, AR. And guess what? To our delight (insert SARCASM here) it was Diversity Weekend! This means it was a celebration filled with rainbows. Tra-la-la-la. Lots of manish women and girly men. None of this was complete without a drag show at the local bar. Darn we had just missed it!
As we were leaving we noticed this little van chugging along and it was decked out with billboard signs saying Diversity is Perversity. We couldnt help but laugh thinking that that van will be found on the side of the road tomorrow charred black from being burned. I know thats horrible but at the time it was funny.
We also went to Roaring River. It was so quite. I havent experienced that much quiet since before Ethan could talk! It was really really nice.
****Note to all--I do NOT hate gay people themselves just their way of thinking is screwed up and I would not be christian if I didnt believe this****

Ethan Quote of the Day

Here we go with another Ethan quote. We were driving back from mom & dads and he apparently caught a case of the hiccups. Well after sucking it up and waiting it out for 2 1/2 minutes he asked :
